About
Ronald Foglietti

A few words about Ronald Foglietti.

I am offering some information regarding my working background.

I worked for five years at Prudential Relocation (Boulder, CO) as a consultant and then as a trainer to prepare corporate executives to be relocated overseas.

I worked as a food broker for an Italian cooperative and open several accounts in Asia and in the South Pacific hemisphere.

I am currently teaching Italian language, travel preparation, cultural strategies, as well as study abroad programs for Bellevue Community College (Washington). I also offer private tutoring for individuals or small groups interested in traveling, studying or doing business in Italy.

In the meantime I am pursuing further my interest in language and cross cultural issues into techno-business (computers). I completed in 2003 a one year training through the University of Washington in Localization Project Management and I have been working with several companies providing software testing, translation, linguistic review and web localization into Italian. Year 2003: I completed a project at Microsoft for Windows International on creating online distance learning courses. A second project at Microsoft for linguistic testing working with developers for MS Tablet PC Italian version. I completed with the end of 2004 a one year Italian localization project at RealNetworks. Early 2005 I have been part of the localization engineering team at BGS (multi language vendor). Since mid-2005 I have been working at RealNetworks again.
